Rumor – US voice actor claims to be working on “Half Life Episode 3″
Half-Life 3 rumors have been swirling the net since Half-Life 2 was released to the console masses in fall 2007 via The Orange Box. Starting last week, the rumor sector lit up to boiling when a Half-Life 3 shirt was sported by a Valve employee at an event, which was either the biggest troll ever or the smarted marketing ploy in the world. Today, a “US-based voice actor” has told OXM they recent recorded lines for “Half Life Episode 3″. OXM has asked the actor for further clarification on the matter. This could be another massive troll, a lie, or a slip of the tongue. No matter what the case may be, one thing is for certain: if Half-Life 3 or Episode 3 is in the works, Valve will announce it when it is damned good and ready to do so – unless there’s a proof-positive leak beforehand. The BBFC has outed Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition with a rating listing, and states it will be release on February 17. Formats other than Xbox 360 weren’t listed, but surely it will be released on PS3 as well. Also, considering it’s called the Komplete Edition, much to the chagrin of our spellcheker, like Eurogamer, we’re going to assume it includes all DLC released to date. We’ll send Warner a mail and ask.

More rumored Wii U specs surface, hardware similar to Xbox 360
An “unnamed Japanese developer” has told Wii U daily that Nintendo’s next console will contain a quad-core 3GHz PowerPC-based 45nm CPU, 768MB of DRAM “embedded” with the CPU and shared between it and the GPU which is 40nm and ATI-based. Try saying all of that three times really fast while holding your tongue. The site’s source claims to be working on porting a PS3 game to Wii U, and that Nintendo is currently testing another version of the console with 1GB of DRAM embedded with the processor. As usual, just file this away for later use until Nintendo officially announces specs. Thanks, D’toid.
