Latest Trails title gets screens, story details
The Legend of Heroes: Sen No Kiseki is the latest game in the Trails line of Nihon Falcom’s RPG series, of which just one – The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky – has been localised to date. It’s a shame so few of these make it over as these new screens make it seem pretty lovely.

Killer Is Dead – Deep Silver to publish in Europe, XSEED in North America
Deep Silver will publish Grasshopper Manufacture’s Killer Is Dead in Europe, according to an announcement from the firm. The Suda 51 title, now owned by Japanese publisher GungHo and XSEED will be published the title in North America it has been confirmed. Killer is Dead launches this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360. Killer is Dead: XSEED downplays US publishing rumours
Killer is Dead – Grasshopper Manufacture’s rather mad-sounding hack n’ slash title – has been tied to publisher XSEED following a string of domain name registrations that appeared earlier this week. The publisher has contacted VG247 to deliver a frank, but painfully short debunker.

Killer is Dead domain registrations filed by XSEED
Suda 51′s Killer is Dead may be heading westward courtesy of XSEED if domain registrations dug by Superannuation are any indication. The domains: killerisdead-game as well as killandlove.com and loveandkill.com were all registered by the publisher. A confirmation for the west has yet to be announced, but, the game is slated for a release in Japan this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360. We’ll send a mail and ask. Killer is Dead was last spring, and featured in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Pandora’s Tower to be released in North America this spring

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows due next Tuesday

Unchained Blades to release through Nintendo eShop in January
Unchained Blades will release on Nintendo eShop for 3DS on January 3, according to XSEED. The game will run you $29.99. Once it’s released, hopefully the XSEED will get to work on localizing Unchained Blades Exxiv for you. It’s possible. Thanks, Siliconera.

Unchained Blades Exxiv may see localization once XSEED releases the original on 3DS first. The possibility of the game releasing in the west was noted in a response to a fan’s inquiry on Facebook. “We’re still struggling to get the original out on 3DS first,” said the reply. “After that’s finally out the door (hopefully Decemmber), then maybe we can start thinking about the sequel.” Those who own a PSP can get the original on the handheld, as it was released through PSN on June 26. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD releasing on PS3 in Japan
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD has popped up in the latest issue of Famitsu. Noted on the magazine’s release calendar for a December 13 release on PS3, the title is Falcom’s first entry in the Trails in the Sky trilogy. Details are scarce, but Polygon notes the game is listed as Trails in the Sky FC Kai: HD Edition, so it’s being presumed as the first entry in the series. It’s unknown whether the game will be released on PS3 Stateside at this time.
