In celebration, the developers have releases some new artwork showing the multiverse variants of Wonder Women. Injustice: Gods Among Us will get a new character on May 7 in the form of Lobo. A video of the man beating up Batman and giving him the finger is below. Lobo was leaked as a DLC character last week. Injustice: Gods Among Us released last week on PS3 and 360. The Wii U edition launched yesterday.

Warner Montreal is featured in a new Batman: Arkahm Origins video on Game Informer, where the team discusses Rocksteady’s previous entries in the series. In it, the team reflects on “how the release of Arkham Asylum changed the game industry and what lessons they hope to carry forward into the upcoming release.” Batman: Arkham Origins is out October 25 for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Helm’s Deep will launch this fall. We will get to kill a bunch of orcs and save Rohan from those Uruk-hai bastards.

Batman: Arkham Origins could be the first in the series to contain multiplayer mode, if a source close to Kotaku is accurate. According to the report, players will be able to step into the shoes of villains from the series and battle it out against Batman and Robin. Gameplay would see players as members of either Bane or Joker’s gang which include all sorts of familiar faces. We won’t delve into that end too much on here in case you want to remain unscathed, plus we don’t want to get yelled at. It hurts our feelings. We’ve sent a mail to Warner on the matter. Batman: Arkham Origins is out in October 25 for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

BioShock Infinite has been denied a fourth week at number one by NetherRealm’s superhero brawler, Injustice: Gods Among Us, which has hit the top spot in this week’s UK chart.

Villains in Batman: Arkham Origins will consist of Bane, Deadshot, Killer Croc, The Joker, and Scarecrow along with the confirmed Deathstroke, if a promo for the game is anything to go by. Snapped by a CVG reader, the cardboard cut out with 12 slots to shove game boxes in shows the baddies included in the art. Go have a look for yourself. Injustice: Gods Among Us developer NetherRealm Studios has release the final video in its ‘Battle Arena’ series of match-up clips. The final bout shows Superman and Batman tearing apart the Bat-Cave as they do battle.

The Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us does not support content unlocks from the free iOS version, according to a report on Siliconera. Although it’s apparently missing this feature, supported by the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, the Wii U SKU does have off-screen play and a move list display for the Game Pad. NetherRealm’s latest is available now in Australia and the US and hits Europe on April 19.
