Juliet and Nick’s relationship gets tested in latest Lollipop Chainsaw video

Warner: Full-year ’11 revenue up 9% thanks to Arkham City, Mortal Kombat
Warner has released its full-year financials for 2011, and reported a revenue increase of 9% $12.6 billion thanks to sales of to Batman: Arkham City, Mortal Kombat, and “several”Lego titles. Arkham City has now shipped 6 million units worldwide since October, and Q4 results for its Film and Entertainment sector, which includes video game sales, saw a 7% increase in revenue year-over-year to $3.9 billion. Revenue across all sectors for full-year 2011 was $29.0 billion, which is an 8% increase year-over-year.

Lollipop Chainsaw coming out in May in Japan
This week’s Famitsu is reporting that Grasshopper’s Lollipop Chainsaw will launch in May in Japan. No exact date is given. Western publisher Warner is yet to provide a date narrower than 2012 for Europe. As well as reiterating yesterday’s news about the uncut limited edition, Famitsu also mentioned platform-specific pre-order outfits for Japan, such as the waitress outfit on PS3 and rider’s outfit on 360.

Quick Shots: The Witcher II Enhanced and Dark Editions
CD Projekt has released a set of packshots for the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher II on PC and Xbox 360, as well as the Dark Edition for Xbox 360.The Enhanced Edition for PC will include all of the new cut-scenes along with the extra storyline added for the Xbox 360 release. Lollypop Chainsaw to get uncut limited edition in Japan
This week’s Dengeki has revealed Lollypop Chainsaw will be kept to a CERO D in Japan for the game’s regular edition. Want a way around the censorship? Buy the limited edition: it will be given the CERO Z rating, meaning it can go onto the market uncut. The limited edition will come with the option to pick between the modes rated D and Z. The magazine also said that both the English and Japanese voiceovers will make it into the Japanese version of the game.
No release date yet for the zombie slasher, but it’ll come out on PS3 and 360 from Warner. Thanks, Siliconera.

First Witcher II 360 dev diary details new content, engine, more
CD Projekt’s released the first developer diary for The Witcher II on Xbox 360 following the game’s April release announcement a few weeks back. The video details the new content coming for the story and gameplay, how its bringing over improvements from the PC version to the console version and how it’ll be an adaptation of the PC SKU rather than a straight up port.

First Mortal Kombat Vita footage is gory and thensome
The US PS Blog has posted a video featuring near two minutes of gameplay of Mortal Kombat for Vita, the first showing its gotten since it was announced. Warner’s announced that Scribblenauts Remix has been downloaded a million times since it launched last year. To celebrate, a fre Valentines Day update has gone live for the 5th Cell puzzler, where you’ll get a Valentines-themed playground level that will encourage players to create Valentines-themed inspirations.

Gotham City Impostors releases next week in the US and Europe
Warner and DC Entertainment have announced Gotham City Impostors will be available in the US on PSN and PC February 7 and on February 8 on PSN and XBL in Europe. The beta has been running since last week on consoles in the US and went live today on PSN in Europe. Originally slated for a January release, earlier this month the title was moved to February in order to test it a bit more.

Lego City Stories confirmed for 2012 launch
Nintendo’s confirmed it’ll launch Warner Wii U and 3DS title Lego City Stories this year. The game’s timeline, being made by Traveller’s Tales, was narrowed down in Nintendo’s Q3 financial results briefing. Also down for a 2012 launch is Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Mario Tennis, while Paper Mario and Animal Crossing are ‘TBA’.

Gotham City Imposters public console beta goes live with new trailer
Warner and DC Entertainment have announced the Gotham City Impostors console public beta is now available on PSN and the Xbox Live Marketplace. Those interested in joining the Xbox 360 version can sign up here for a chance to receive a key. The PS3 version is available in the PSN and can be downloaded without a key.
