Blood being patched into TERA next week
The European publisher of TERA has told Eurogamer a patch will be implemented next week adding a blood detail slider to the MMO, but the blood splatter will be less pronounced than in the US version. The patch will also add the Emblems feature, which was cut before launch due to uploaded Emblems storing on a player’s hard drive. When coming across another player in the game, it would automatically store the other players Emblem obn the drive as well. Frogster considered this a “high threat in terms of security, in case someone wanted to upload a virus,” but not the system has been re-implemented and Emblems will now be stored in the client memory instead.

Assassin’s Creed III DLC available with Gamestop pre-orders
Lost Mayan Ruins, a DLC mission included with one of the three special editions for Assassin’s Creed III, will be available as a pre-order bonus at Gamestop. There are at least two other DLC missions and a multiplayer package on offer through the various bundles, so assuming other retailer-specific offers pop up soon, there may actually be some way to get them all with one purchase. Assassin’s Creed III is due on October on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Thanks, Shack.

Once again, Canadians have won. This Future Shop exclusive Ghost Recon: Future Soldier bundle includes a steelbook and a statuette, and is apparently available in quite limited quantitites. Consoles only, I’m afraid; although the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version drop next week, the PC release is a few weeks behind.
