End of Nations releasing September 20

Rift’s Conquest mode open to solo players, too
The PvP-focused Conquest patch for Rift will offer some new content for those who prefer to go solo. As detailed on PC Gamer, after patch 1.9 players can contribute to ongoing tri-factional conflicts by gathering and crafting resources which can help tip the balance in favour of one side or another, without having to participate in multiplayer battles.

Defiance to launch next April, comes with E3 trailer
Trion’s announced it’ll launch transmedia MMO Defiance in April 2013. The E3 trailer for the shooter shows a good look at the gameplay, a glimpse of the upcoming SyFy show and how an “Arkfall” fits into the scheme of things. Watch it below, via Massively. It’ll launch on PS3, 360 and PC.

Trion to launch MMO shooter Defiance on consoles, PC
Trion’s announced it’ll launch MMO shooter Defiance on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Launching as a third-person shooter, Trion’s promised the title will feature “the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO,” whilst connecting to the TV show of the same name.

Rift to launch in southeast Asia
MMO Rift is to launch in Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand, owner Trion World said today. The new releases of the popular fantasy game will be handled through Asiasoft, but there’s to be no localization from the English version. There’s a press release here.

Rift: From the Embers goes live, MMO taken to v1.6
The biggest patch yet for Trion fantasy MMO Rift has gone live, taking the game to v1.6. The update, titled From the Embers, and a new zone twice the size of the game’s current largest; a new, 11-boss dungeon; a new 10-player raid; a new mode, named Warfront; and the “2nd tier of Planar Attunement,” whatever the Sam Hell that is.
