It’s a little hard to tell when you’re looking at multiplayer in an RTS game, but Sega has solved this dilemma by occasionally splitting this Company of Heroes 2 trailer into four individual views. I am not 100% certain this tactic is helpful, but here you go anyway.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F trailer announcement trailer released
SEGA has released the announcement trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F. It’s the first console game in the rhythm action franchise from Crypton Future Media to release in the west, and it will be made available in North America on PS3 and PSN and in Europe on PSN in August. A demo released yesterday in the US and hits when the PS Store updates today in Europe.

SEGA announces E3 2013 line-up
SEGA has announced its E3 line-up, and the firm is bringing five titles to the expo next week. SEGA’s full line-up includes: Sonic Lost World (Wii U, 3DS) out this Holiday; Castle of Illusion (PC, PSN, XBLA) out this summer; Company of Heroes 2 (PC); Total War: Rome 2 (PC); and The Cave (mobile). This will be the first publish showing of both the new Sonic title and the mobile version of Double Fine’s The Cave.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F demo out next week in US, Europe
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F has been confirmed for a western release. The Crypton Future Media, Inc title will be made available in North America on PS3 and PSN and in Europe on PSN. It’s the first console game in the rhythm action franchise to release in the west, and it will include all the updated graphics, additional songs and features of the Japanese version. A demo releases June 11 in the US and June 12 in Europe. The game itself releases in August.

Phantasy Star Online 2 has 500,000 players on Vita
Phantasy Star Online has accumulated 500,000 players on Vita, Sega has announced. The MMORPG opened its doors on the portable console in February, Siliconera reminds us, so it’s managed this feat in just over three months. Vita players are being rewarded with an item which increases money, XP and item drops for 30 minutes. Phantasy Star Online 2 has not been announced for western release. It’s also available on PC and is coming to mobiles.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episodes 1 & 2, Sonic CD to release on Ouya
SEGA will release Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episodes 1 and 2 and Sonic CD on Ouya. According to GI International, all three will run you $6.99 to purchase, which is a bit higher than Sonic 4 on Google Play for $3.99 and $1.99 on the App Store, and Sonic CD costing $2.99 on both. Ouya launches June 25.

Company of Heroes 2 video is about more than tanks, but still about tanks
Company of Heroes 2 has a new trailer available below. The title of the video may confuse you, considering it’s called “More than Tanks,” but really that’s what the video shows. Men running around on the ground firing weapons, while tanks blow other tanks and the land around them to smithereens. Honestly though, there’s more than just heavy machinery in the game. You can drop bombs from the sky as well. Company of Heroes 2 is out on PC June 25.

3D Sonic the Hedgehog and Altered Beast ratings pop up in Australia
The Australian Classification Board has posted rating for 3D Sonic the Hedgehog and 3D Altered Beast. This leaves one to assume that the re-releases, which are landing in Japan, may be heading west. Other 3D titles in the series, Space Harrier and Super Hang-on, have already been released in the region. Space Harrier was playable during MCM in London last week. Castle of Illusion is heading to PC, PSN, and XBLA this summer, and to get you excited for the release, SEGA has posted a new video in which the original creators of the 1990 Genesis version discuss the game. The video also included the current version’s developers. The game has been rebuilt with new visuals and gameplay mechanics. Check out the video below.
