Total War: Rome 2 content drops next week and it’s called Caesar in Gaul. The downloadable campaign pack brings with it the battle of Alesia, which artfully recreates the engagement in which Caesar finally conquered Gaul. This made the man famous, and infamous, and thus enabling his rise to dictator. In the game, though, players will battle at the hilltop fort of Alesia as it’s under siege, and will have to weather attacks on two fronts: from Vercingetorix’ forces within the fort itself, and from a huge Gallic relief army. There’s more on the wikipage. The content will drop on December 17 and is 10% off when you pre-order on Steam.
