Project X Zone developer Namco Bandai has launched a European demo for its Sega and Capcom crossover brawler. The demo, which we told you about overnight, has been detailed a bit more this morning, along with confirmation that a second demo is coming next month.

SEGA has released another teaser image for Sonic: Lost World. This one shows silhouettes of characters we can probably expect to be in the game. The last teaser image was revealed while the last Nintendo Direct was going on, which was when the Wii U exclusive was announced. Check out the teaser image in full below. Yakuza 1&2 HD has been confirmed for Wii U release in Japan by Sega, and the developer has released the bundle’s first trailer and screens into the wild.

Yakuza 1 & 2 HD will be released on Wii U in Japan with Wii U-specific features, including off-TV play, Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct broadcast for the region. A western release was not announced, so it’s unknown whether it will head this way or not. Thanks, Siliconera.

SEGA has announced that Total War: Rome 2 is the fastest pre-ordered Total War game to date, with over six times the number of pre-orders its first official week compared to Shogun 2. The Collector’s Edition has also pre-ordered well, with over half the available copies already sold out in the US. The firm also said Total War sales hit 2 million last year “without a major release,” to support the series. Those who pre-order the strategy title get the first DLC, The Greek States Culture Pack, free on the day of release. Rome 2 is out September 3.

The original Sonic the Hedgehog is now available on Google Play for Android devices, priced at $3. This isn’t just a quick and dirty port, either, but a Retro-Engine remake from fan turned pro Christian “The Taxman” Whitehead. It boasts widescreen support at 60FPS, a remastered soundtrack, leaderboards, achievements, Time Attack mode, and playable Knuckles and Tails. The iOS version has been updated to add in these extra features, too.
