Rovio “product wizard” exits for “the true mobile device”
Forbes reports Rovio’s Julien Fourgeaud, a digital strategist with the delightful job title of “new product wizard”, has left the Angry Birds developer. Amusingly, the two-year veteran said he’s off to work on “the true mobile device”, at electric sports car start up Scarlet Motors. Rovio CEO Mikael Hed is said to have taken the sudden departure in his stride, praising Fourgeaud’s entrepreneurial spirit. It’s the third senior departure from Rovio so far this year although Angry Birds continues to sell like hotcakes.

Activision teases Angry Birds on consoles
At Activision’s E3 2012 booth, the publisher is reportedly showing a teaser reel with one of Rovio’s Angry Birds. IGN queried this odd little inclusion and was asked to “Wait until you see it on consoles in HD”. An announcement is expected in the next few weks.

Angry Birds Heikki teased for June 18 reveal
Rovio’s teasing something the next Angry Birds release, this time tied in with Finnish Formula One driver Heikki Kovalainen. No other details are in the public domain on what it’ll entail, though. PocketGamer reckons this’ll be a web browser affair only, with no plans for an iOS and Android release.
