Tales of Tactics heading to Android
Namco Bandai’s announced it’s to bring Tales of Tactics to Android this July, featuring characters from past major Tales of games in the series, including Vesperia, Graces, Of The Abyss, Symphonia and more.

Touch My Katamari collaboration DLC lands onto JP PSN
Namco’s released new DLC for Touch My Katamari in Japan. The new content features collaborations from manga/anime Usagi Drop, manga artist Takayuki Mizushina, retailer Matsumoto Shoten, East Japan Taxi ‘Blue Ribbon’ and a redevelopment group. Nope, I don’t get it neither.

Next Tales of game announce happening next month
The latest issue of Jump in Japan has confirmed the next Tales of game will be announced next month. The announcement will be made at the Tales of festival on June 2-3 in Japan. The new title is merely called “Next Tales of…” without any platforms attached. Its assumed this’ll be the announce of the next HD title in the series following Xillia for PS3. Graces F launches on European PS3s this summer.

Namco financials – Dark Souls sold 1.19 million copies in the US and Europe
Namco Bandai announced in its year-end financial report that Dark Souls sold over 1.19 million copies in Europe and the US on PS3 and Xbox 360 combined.

Rurouni Kenshin headed back to PSP
Anime’s second most stylish ronin is back: Andriasang reports Namco Bandai has announced a second PSP outing for Rurouni Kenshin. Like last year’s effort, it’s a fighter, and should release in northern summer. The first one didn’t escape Japan – nor have any Rurouni Kenshin games as I recall – so don’t hold your breath unless you’re import-friendly.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 shots feature the best-looking scopes in games
Seriously. That game is getting its money’s worth out of CryEngine 3 if you can make sniper scopes look good. Gamefront has a whole handful of shots of the City Interactive shooter.
Namco brings the game to the UK on August 21 for PS3, 360 and PC.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 gets mammoth screen blowout

Namco Bandai unites European and US arms under one operation
Namco Bandai has united its European and US operations under one arm as a whole. The announcement was made at the publisher’s recent media showcase in Las Vegas a few weeks back (via MCV). The new move will see Mark Tsuji as its new CEO. “We wanted to unite our overseas organisation under one leadership,” VP Carlson Choi said on the move.

First Project X Zone video debuts during Nintendo Direct
Sega, Capcom, and Namco Bandai have released the first trailer for Project X Zone, the joint 3DS strategy RPG from the firms. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 launching on August 21
Namco Bandai’s announced it’ll release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 on August 21. The City Interactive FPS sequel will use CryEngine 3 to power the game, making it “the most authentic sniping experience to date in a video game”, according to Namco, who is distributing it in the UK, Greece, Italy and Spain.
It’ll launch on PS3, 360 and PC.
