Namco Bandai has been teasing a new PS3 game for about a week now, and the company has posted an update saying the title will be revealed in four days. The internet consensus is still that it’s called Strelka Stories and is in development at CyberConnect2.

I’m not sure how many of you remember Retro Game Challenge, a weird nostalgia trip of a DS game released back in 2009, based upon the Japanese comedy show GameCenter CX. It didn’t even sell 100,000 copies in the west.

Dark Souls 2 concept art and screenshots have been released by Namco Bandai. Some are rather interesting, and show armor, weapons and the like. Others, well, they’re downright frightening. Dark Souls 2 will release on Xbox 360 in March according to a trailer shown during the MS E3 conference. Obvious news, but still good nonetheless. The video for it is below and it’s damn sexy. Dark Souls 2 is out in March 2014 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

A developer diary for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is below, and features Team Ninja leader Yosuke Hayashi and concept lead, Keiji Inafune, discussing development of the game. The game is in the works between three developmental entities: Comcept, Spark Unlimited, and Team Ninja. In the video, Inafune and Hayashi talk about many things, along with the differences between development in Japan and the west – something which has been touched upon before by the team. Have a watch below. We’re still unsure of a release date or platforms, but we’ll know more come E3 next week.

Namco has released the E3 trailer for Tales of Xillia. It’s titled “Wishes of Hope,” which is what everyone in the west who has wanted the PS3 title for ages has been doing. Wishing and hoping. No need to do that anymore: it’s out on August 6 in North America and August 9 in Europe.

Namco Bandai have announced the Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack for Japan, which will include HD Remasters of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. It will land in Japan on October 10. There’s good news for those in west out this announcement: the pack will also be released outside of Japan during 2014 and will be known as Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

A Tales of Xillia limited edition has bee announced for North America for $60. It contains the game, an exclusive collectible character profile booklet, two DLC costumes, and a CD with the game’s music. It will be limited to the game’s first-print run, says Siliconera. Those who have already pre-ordered the game will be upgraded to the limited edition. It’s out August 6 in North America on PS3.
