Dead or Alive 5 Plus has been announced by Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi via IGN Pro League. It will arrive on Vita in early 2013, and new features via a patch will also arrive for the core game next year. More details on DoA Plus will be announced at a later date. Watch the reveal below. Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 arrives in the US on February 5. Siliconera reports the brawler will be available in stores for Xbox 360 but only via download for the PlayStation Network – likely due to SCE America’s localisation policies, as with Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires. The sequel boasts a Legend mode which takes in the whole manga storyline; a Dream mode of original stories; more than 20 characters; and co-op or versus play. It arrives in Europe on February 1. Wii U launch dates for both territories are still to be determined.

Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires will see physical retail release in Australia and Europe but will come to the US via the PlayStation Network only, Siliconera reports. The last major Omega Force release, Warriors Orochi 3, also released as a PSN download only, because SCE America requires English voice-acting for physical releases. Expect the strategy-lite hack-and-slasher in all territories in February; the US launch has been re-dated for February 26.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3 has shown up on amazon France for PS3 and Xbox 360. The retailer lists it for a March 5, 2013 release. No word on how accurate the listing is, but Team Ninja is expected to release Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 on PS Vita in early 2013. We’ll send a mail. Via NeoGAF.

Dead or Alive 5′s already jam-packed wardrobe just got a little bit more bloated, with three new sets of costumes available. This bunch includes the China Pack (Helena, Jann Lee, Brad Wong, Gen Fu), Special Set 3 (Kasumi, Mila, Zack, Christie) and Formal Wear (Leifang, Tina, Eliot, Bass). You can pick up an individual pack for $5 or regional equivalent on the PlayStation 3 or 400 MS Points on Xbox 360, or all three for $13/1040 MS Points.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is being developed by three developmental entities: Comcept, Spark Unlimited, and Team Ninja. While it sounds as though there may be too many cooks making this bloody stew, Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi said everyone is functioning as one team.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge contains the playable character Momiji through the game’s Challenge and Ninja Trials modes. Momiji will be added to the game as free DLC early next month. Tecmo Koei has nominated a Febryary 1, 2013 release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Fist of the North Star 2: Ken’s Rage. Although that’s well after the Wii U’s November launch, Gematsu reports the brawler’s Nintendo debut is still to be determined.

Dead or Alive 5′s Angels and Devils costumes, DOATEC Diva outfits, and swimsuits are now available as DLC.

According to GoNintendo‘s interpretation of a 4Gamer report, all Tecmo Koei games released on Wii U in Japan will launch day-and-date on the console’s eShop. The three Japanese Wii U launch titles are all cheaper online than at retail, too – Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper (¥7,140 retail, ¥6,300 eShop), Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII (¥9,240 retail, ¥8000 eShop) and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (¥7,140 retail, ¥6,300). The Wii U launches in Japan in early December; it hits the US On November 18 and Europe on November 30.
