Those who purchase Dynasty Warriors VS for 3DS will be privy to a couple outfit choices from Nintendo: Samus from Other M and Link from Skyward Sword. Announced last year, the portable fighter contains  1v1, 2v2 and three or four-player battle modes, as well as a head-to-head mini-game called Musou Rush. It also contains a single-player story mode. The game is out this weekend in in Japan, with western release unconfirmed but possible. Have a look at the outfits over on Andriasang.

Tecmo Koei has confirmed to Joystiq that Dead or Alive 5 will launch worldwide in September on PS3 and Xbox 360. If you want a taste of it beforehand, you can play it via the Ninja Gaiden 3 Collector’s Edition out later this month. A demo was also mentioned for the US and Canada only for March 19 on XBL.

Tecmo Koei’s announced its appointed Fist of the North Star producer Hisashi Koinuma as its new head of software at the company. Before his new role, Koinuma was head of TK’s second software division, but will now head up his new role in Kyoto. He’ll take over from Tecmo Koei CEO Yoichi Erikawa, who was previously in the role.

Team Ninja has released a new developer diary for Ninja Gaiden 3, which gives the viewer a look in the thoughts process behind the development of the game as well as its story and characters.

Team Ninja’s confirmed it will feature a Japanese option for Ninja Gaiden 3′s western release. When asked if it’d feature the option for menus, subs and voiceovers, the studio Twitter – typically manned by studio boss Yosuke Hayashi – confirmed: “Yes, you can choose it.”

Ryu’s latest comes out on March 23 in Europe for PS3 and 360.

Siliconera reports Warriors Orochi 3 will not release in physical form for PlayStation 3 in the US. The game’s localisation extends only to text and subtitles, and SCEA apparently does not allow the release of games without English voices. The crossover will be available to download from the US PlayStation Network, and the Xbox 360 version is still expected on March 20. Both versions will release in physical form in Europe, and the PS3 is region free, so US denizens are able to import a retail copy.

Team Ninja has stated through the magic of Twitter that pre-orders for Ninja Gaiden 3 are a bit higher in Japan than what is normal for the series. Likely, this has something to do with folks getting a Dead or Alive 5 demo with their pre-order, and due to this, the firm has suggested everyone pre-order early to ensure they get the trial. The firm has also noted that if you press select when playing the game, you can open up a real-time move list, which changes depending on skill you’re using at the time.
