Check out the screens for point-and-click adventure, Lost Horizon

Lost Horizon, the PC point and click adventure game from the makers of Secret Files, has some new screens for it posted over on IGN.
Set during the 1930′s, the game contains locales such as Hong Kong, Morocco, and Tibet, as the player takes on the role of smuggler and former British soldier Fenton Paddock.
Tasked with finding a lost expedition in Tibet, he must beat the Nazis to the ever mythical Shambala if he is to prevent them from using the magical kingdom as a weapon for further conquest.
Shambala should sound familiar to some gamers at this point, but we won’t say why just in case.
Lost Horizon is set for release next year on the PC.

What Prison Break looks like as a game – 10 screens
Kotaku’s got ten shots of Prison Break in game form.
According to the email we received a while ago from Deep Silver’s, the shots show a “highly detailed reconstruction of instantly recognisable environments from the show such as the prison yard, inside the cells, and the Prison Industries workshop.
“Also revealed for the first time is the in game image of Lincoln Burrows, snapped as he makes his escape from Fox River in an iconic scene from the TV series.”
Astonishing. Check the shit out of that prison.

Prison Break: The Conspiracy coming to light March 26

Koch Media has announced that Prison Break: The Conspiracy will be released for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 March 26 in Europe.
Based on the television series, the action/adventure game features agent Tom Paxton who is sent to the Fox River State Penitentiary to find out why Michael Scofield became a bank robber.
The storyline runs parallel to the first season of the series as Paxton encounters several characters that should be familiar to you if you watched the show, and he also experiences some of the key events that happened, but from his own perspective.
Here’s hoping it’s better than the one for LOST.

Risen being refused classification in Australia is ridiculous, says GDAA president

Reaction to Risen being refused classification in Australia has caused the president of the Game Developers Association of Australia to describe the rating system as “awful”, “ridiculous” and “antiquated”.
“We are once again caught in this awful, ridiculous web of the antiquated classification system that we all have to endure,” Tom Crago stated in a radio interview. “Here in Australia the sooner that changes, the better; it is obviously a battle to ensure common sense prevails. We will get there eventually, but in the meantime as gamers in Australia we suffer, and to be honest we are embarrassed at how backward our government is.
“We are the butt of a lot of jokes. I travel; obviously a lot, talking to other developers and publishers and people cannot believe it that we still have this ridiculous system here in Australia, designed twenty or thirty years ago, and hasn’t changed since.”
Crago added that an R rating added to the mix would help matters, as all games must adhere to the requirements for an age 15 rating, further stating that “the law needs to evolve and move with the times”.
“The way I look at it, ultimately the war is won, we will get there in the end, and it’s just a case of counting the days until common sense prevails.”
