Wargame: European Escalation has been released for Linux following Mac and PC launches, and all three versions of the game now support cross-platform multiplayer. Developer Eugen Systems said the game has attracted “hundreds of thousands” of players since launch. You can grab Wargame: European Escalation on Steam for $35, and thanks to SteamPlay, one purchase unlocks all three versions.

A new content pack has released for city-building sim Cities XL. Platinum adds over 1,000 new buildings to the game, including 50 entirely new ones, and more than 60 “gigantic” new maps. The $30 expansion is available now on Steam, and also fixes a number of bugs found in the 2012 version of the game.

Of Orcs and Men is out today on PSN in Europe, Cyanide has announced. The game will be made available through the service in the US on Tuesday. Giants and Focus Home Interactive have announced Farming Simulator 2013 is coming to consoles. The game retains what made the 2011 version such a hit, yet the developers have also added new machines, vehicles from 20 top manufacturers, crops, animals, and environments. Larger farm machinery will be unveiled at gamescom next month. The 2013 version also contains a new online mode and services, allowing the community to download and share mods, vehicles, and equipment, as well as custom made tools through the customization options in the game. Farming Simulator 2013 lands on PC in October, and will arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360 during Q1 2013. Shots are below.
