IO Interactive has announced the launch of the Hitman: Sniper Challenge for PC users, which is a sniper experience available to play the moment Hitman: Absolution is pre-ordered. PS3 and Xbox 360 users have already had their chance in the spotlight, now it’s time for PC users to start scoring. The PC version of Hitman: Absolution will be shown for the gamescom later this month.

Miles Jacobson, studio director for Sports Interactive, has broken his silence on why his studio left Eidos in 2003. Turns out, the studio though Eidos was looking to replace it with Beautiful Game Studios, while life president Ian Livingstone said the firm brought the later into the fold because it has heard rumors Sports Interactive were planning to split.
