EA wins Worst Company in America poll for second year
EA has once again taken home the title of Worst Company in America, after winning a consumer poll posted by The Consumerist. The win came despite a heartfelt letter issued by EA COO Peter Moore over the weekend, which was countered by a Consumerist analysis which said consumers were tired of EA’s focus on “microtransactions, online passes” and asked it to prove the ire this year was brought on by the Madden cover athlete and conservative groups upset over the publisher’s support of LGBT issues.

Votes can be cast through ESPN’s web portal or via live Twitter voting during SportsNation on Tuesday afternoons. Regular polls will run until April 24, and the first round of competition pits Curtis Martin against Jerome Bettis, and Von Miller against Victor Cruz. Madden NFL 25 hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in August.
