Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 to include career-spanning Legacy mode
Have you ever wanted to follow pro-golfer Tiger Woods through his entire life, not just the latest PGA Tour? EA Sports is pretty sure you have, adding a Legacy mode to the upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. The new mode takes players right through the champion’s career, starting with his prodigal efforts at the age of two. This is predictably adorable, and you can see a video of it through the break. The sports sim drops on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with Move and Kinect support, on March 27.

SSX online trailer goes nuts on global events, GeoTags
EA’s released the second part of its SSX online series, this time focussing on the game’s online global events and user-generated collectables known as GeoTags. Global events skip the typical lobby in multiplayer games, instead throwing you into ongoing events in and around the SSX universe. GeoTags, meanwhile, are where UGC tags can be dropped anywhere on a level. Until its picked up by your friends, you’ll continue earning credits for the time its spent out there.

EA Q3: SWTOR moves 2 million units, 1.7M active users
EA has posted $1.65 billion in revenue for Q3 FY12, which is a 15% increase year-over-year from $1.41 billion. Packaged goods sales came in at $1.23 billion compared to $1.108 billion year-over-year, and losses for the quarter were $205 million, compared to $322 million year-over-year.

SSX X Games TV ad goes on global showcase

Blockbuster offering interesting pre-order incentives for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13
Blockbuster has announced two pre-order exclusiveness Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, which include DLC packs featuring football luminaries Wayne Rooney, James Milner, Theo Walcott and Petr Cech. Another pack will feature sports stars such as boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard. Blockbuster said the exclusive DLC was “the start of an exciting year” for its customers and more promotions are coming in the future. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 will be released in the US on March 27 and worldwide on March 30. The Xbox 360 version features Kinect integration, while both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions contain a new swing mechanic as well as social features. Thanks, Spong.
