Surely the game contains some sort of rules despite the connotations in the headline, but whatever they are, Ride to Hell: Retribution doesn’t seem to care. In the game, you will play as Jake Conway who is out for revenge against a brutal biker gang called The Devil’s Hand. The action-adventure, in the works since 2008, takes place during the last years of the roaring 1960’s and releases June 25 in North America and June 28 in Europe on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Thanks, EdNorton.

Saint’s Row 4′s silly tone doesn’t get in the way of sales, says Volition
Saint’s Row 4 developer Volition believes that if anything, the series’ daft tone is what makes it such a success, not the other way round. It comes as one Cliff Bleszinski suggested that the wacky nature of the games is holding them back, and for Volition to “lose the gimps and dildos”.

Dragon’s Prophet screens show off the floating continent of Laedis
Screenshots of upcoming fantasy MMORPG Dragon’s Prophet have been released, showing off the Laedis continent of floating islands. According to lore, before the invention of airships, the place was so isolated that only the Osira inhabitants dwelled there, as the Eternal Dragon placed the inhabitants there during the First Dragon War. During the Second Dragon War, the continents “were continuously fractured and Laedis was flung high into the sky.” Thus, it remains there. It all looks rather lovely, and I was able to play some of the MMO during GDC last week. My full report will be posted sometime next week. Dragon’s Prophet will be published by SOE in North America, and Deep Silver and Infernum Productions per regional agreements in other regions.
