A certain Mr Yoshinori Ono, executive producer on the Street Fighter series, has dropped a few hints on Twitter about a new fighting game being in the works at Capcom. He tweeted this morning: “I want… no, Capcom wants Game Designer and programer for New Fighting Game. Its location at Tokyo or Osaka Studio.”

Capcom is 30 years old, and instead of thinking about maybe popping out a second sprog and buying a mini-van it’s throwing a huge Steam sale. All the deals are collated on this Steam page, but Capcom Unity also has a handy-dandy text list if you want a quicker scan. It’s worth having a look just to remind yourself of a bunch of things we’d forgotten the publisher was involved in, like Dark Void, which Brad Pitt got every enthusiastic about, and Fairy Bloom Freesia, which certainly exists, that’s for sure. Discounts up to 75% are on offer.

Nintendo and Capcom have released a new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Desitines animated trailer to coincide with the game’s demo going up on the 3DS eShop a few days ago. The trailer, which might also be the game’s opening cinematic, features the aftermath of a literal bomb going off in the courtroom, the ensuing angst as well as a hint at his new sidekick’s new deus ex machina.
