Capcom has released the launch trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations on 3DS, which launches in the US today, and according to GameStop’s website, it’s currently on backorder, so good luck getting it through that particular retailer online – unless your local shop has one. It released January 27 in Europe. Check out the trailer below.

Capcom Unity has advised US owners of Resident Evil: Revelations affected by a cover typo on the game’s first shipment can call 650-350-6700 or email accounts@capcom.com to have a new cover shipped out. The European version, which sports a different cover, seems to have come through unscathed.

Capcom has released videos for the Ranger and Mage classes in Dragon’s Dogma. Each one, there’s three each, shows off the skills, attributes, strengths, and weaknesses of both classes. Watch the videos below the break. Dragon’s Dogma is out May 22 in the US and May 25 in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Capcom’s announced it’ll release the Ver 2012 update for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition from February 21 on PS3 and 360. The free update will balance gameplay and remove any bugs and glitches. The arcade version wil get the update on February 14. Once more, producer Tomoaki Ayano has said on Unity that Street Fighter x Tekken has now gone Gold. He celebrated the news by teasing a new character, showing a screen featuring the outline of what appears to Bison. SFxTK launches in March for PS3 and 360.

Andriasang‘s posted a 15 minute video of Street Fighter x Tekken being played for the first time by Daigo ‘The Beast’ Umehara. The multiple-times EVO champ on Street Fighter IV and subsequent versions has a look at the menus and a few matches in the clip, which is the first of four to come. Get it below.

Capcom has released a large set of assets and a few bits of art for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for Vita. The artwork provides a look at the exclusive Gold Herald color options available for all characters and players can obtain these through costume sharing on Vita’s NEAR function. The screens and gameplay video detail what players can expect when firing the game up. UMvC3 will release on Vita February 22, and is also included in the First Edition Vita bundle which arrives in mailboxes February 15.

Capcom has posted its financial results for the fist nine months of its fiscal year, and for the period, both profit and revenue decreased year-over-year. Profits were down 52.6% to ¥3.2 billion ($42.6 million) compared to ¥6.8 billion ($89.8 million), and revenue was down 29% to ¥50.3 billion ($660.6 million) compared to ¥70.8 billion ($930.0 million).

Capcom’s finally placed a date in stone for the Japanese release of Resident Evil/Biohazard: Operation Raccoon City. The Slant Six shooter will launch in the country on April 26 for ¥6990. A limited edition will also be on sale through eCapcom for ¥9,490 that will contain a 40-page Raccoon City concept guide book, a Raccoon City Secret Report DVD and more, as well as the game.

Capcom has released a new gameplay trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City which features a closer look at members of the Spec Ops squad and Umbrella Security Service and each character’s specific skill sets. Characters will be used in three online competitive multiplayer modes: Biohazard, Survivor and Team Attack, and in 4v4 player team battles and expects a third force of zombies and B.O.W.’s, to add to the mayhem. Operation Raccoon City launches in North America on March 20 and in Europe on March 23 for PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version to follow.

Capcom has announced it will release Monster Hunter With Everyone: Card Master, known as Minna to Monhan Card Master in Japan, via DeNA’s Mobage mobile social gaming platform. Pre-registrations started today for the card battle game developed by Gloops. Each card is based off characters and monsters from the Monster Hunter series, and it allows players to form guilds, gather cards, and battle other guilds. The game will be released on feature phones and smart phones with microtransactions starting February 21. Thanks, Andriasang.

Capcom is set to launch an iOS version of popular DS title Ghost Trick tomorrow, according to an iTunes listing, as spotted by Videogamer. Those who download the game, made by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi, get chapters 1 and 2 free, with the rest being downloadable in-app. More details here.

GT’s gone live with a new three minute clip of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City ahead of the shooter’s March release. The video shows mainly action gameplay, but Nemesis also makes an appearance near the end. It also shows one of the Umbrella lot become infected by a zombie and become one herself.
