Fallout 4, as we figured, wasn’t shown during E3 by Bethesda last week. According to a statement given to Kotaku on the matter: “We showed three games at E3 – Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Elder Scrolls Online and The Evil Within. We did not show any of our games behind closed doors,” said a company representative. Hopefully, you didn’t overdose on the salt over the weekend.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines has said the lack of news on Prey 2 is still due to the game not being “good enough” at this point.

Having scanned back though our The Evil Within coverage, I’ve noticed that until the release of E3 assets, Bethesda had not confirmed that The Evil Within is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, saying only “next-gen platforms”. Here’s your official heads up: it is. Surprise! Thanks for the reminder, Joystiq; the Tango Gameworks horror effort is due in 2014.

Bethesda caused an outbreak of choking in surprise when The Elder Scrolls Online was announced as console release during Sony’s E3 conference. A new trailer accompanied the news, along with word of an exclusive beta for PS4 fans.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Legendary Edition is now available in retail stores across North America. It includes the original game Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn – and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode and Legendary skills. It will run you $59.99. It is out in Europe and Australia on June 7 for £29.99 on console and £19.99 on PC.

An ex-Human Head employee has taken to Twitter to state that Prey 2 “was a full game,and a crazy fun one.”

Wolfenstein 3D is now available through XBLA as promised. It was released earlier this week on the PS Store for PS3 and will be coming soon to the service in Europe, according to Bethesda. It will run you $4.99/400 MS Points.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is being taken in a different direction than previous iterations in the series, but if you’re worried whether or not Machine Games will remain true to the series’ legacy: fear not.
