Activision has released a preview video for Vengeance, the third DLC Map Pack available for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Rumored earlier this week, the map pack includes four new multiplayer maps: Cove, Detour, Rush, and Uplink, a reimagining of the classic map Summit. Also included is the brand new Zombies adventure Buried, which features the new bonus Zombies weapon, the Ray Gun Mark II. Vengeance arrives first on Xbox Live July 2, with other platforms to follow.

Diablo 3 on PS3 and PS4 will feature exclusive items from Sony titles such as Uncharted, Journey, more. These items include goodies such as Drake’s Amulet, and will be available when the game launches in the consoles. More items will also be made available in the future. Activision is handing out a rare, limited edition Skylanders Swarp Force toy at E3. It’s called Color Shift Hot Dog and will be handed out to people who stop by the firm’s Skylanders area when E3 opens tomorrow. The figurine is a metallic version of the other Hot Dog figures available. You can get a look at the fella over on Kotaku and through an unboxing video posted by FamilyGamerTV. Skylanders Swap Force will arrive in North America and Australia on October 16 and in Europe on October 18 for 3DS, PS3, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Screenshots for the game are below.

StarCraft 2 has a video below showing the return of spawning. Those who played the original StarCraft and Warcraft 2 may recall being able to bring a player who didn’t yet own the game into yours game and play together. Thanks to the starter edition, your friends can now join you. Spawning will also allow them access to part of the game inaccessible through your copy. Have a look at it in action below. Spawning is being deployed globally today, so it may not be available in your region right away. It will be published across the globe by the end of the day.

A live Call of Duty: Ghosts – All-Access broadcast will be held this Sunday. It’s a 30-minute broadcast featuring an exclusive first look at gameplay levels from the title, as well as exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews with the Infinity Ward team, and more. It will be hosted by Geoff Keighley and Justine Ezarik through Callofduty.com and other online destinations across the web. It can also be watched via Xbox’s Machinima app,and will be available in 41 countries. Tune in June 9th, at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET. Additional broadcast outlets to be announced.

Blizzard seems to be making progress with its scarcely-discussed Battle.Net desktop client, as the studio has updated the app’s support page, along with a big batch of debut UI and feature images.
