FromSoftware has released a new video for Armored Core V, showing off lots of mechs and explosions in lovely CGI with dubstep music blasting away in the background. Screenshots for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II have popped up on XBL Marketplace, showing Sonic and Tails doing what they do best.  You can look them over in the gallery below the break. Episode II takes place following the events of Episode I, where Metal Sonic has returned to form an alliance with Dr. Eggman, and Sonic and Tails must team up and race four new Zones in order to put an end to their evil plans. Players will be able to play co-op online or locally. Still no date, but hopefully SEGA will provide a release window not that new shots have been released. It’s out sometime this year at any rate, for XBL, PSN, iOS, and Android. Thanks, Reddit.

Videos from the sneak peek beta of TERA have started surfacing on the net thanks to those who are participating in the tester. Below the break, you will find in-game videos of the melee-focused Lancer and the range-focused Sorcerer classes, courtesy of UniLost.com. A sneak peek beta is currently going on now, and the first of five closed beta tests start February 17 run every weekend until April 15. The open beta starts on April 19 and the game releases in May. Ubisoft has announced the Eden Project DLC is now available for Anno 2070. The DLC takes players into the future for the first time, offering new, clean and sustainable technologies, and challenges for the player to manage, along with a “deep economic system” and a “dynamic game world.” Players can also take advantage of Former Technology to develop new tools in order to keep their island healthy. The DLC is now available through Steam for $3.99.

Far Cry 3 details from the latest edition of Edge Magazine have been posted online, and the information gleaned touched upon the game’s protagonist, the gameplay mechanics, and the game’s “open-ended mission” structure.

Paradox has announced the eight-year wait for a Crusader Kings sequel is over with the release of Crusader Kings II. The game explores “one of the defining eras in world history,” covering the period of the 11th to 15th century Medieval Europe. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, the debut title from producer Ichiro Hazama, was originally designed for release on DS but due to hardware limitations, the game’s production was held back. Speaking in the the latest edition of Iwata Asks, Hazama said the idea for the title came after he finished work on the Final Fantasy movie Advent Children, and with the release of 3DS, a handheld with the storage capacity and power was finally available to bring his ideas to fruition. Thus he went to Indies Zero to finalize his plans for the game, and after getting the all-clear from Tetsuya Nomura, work on the game started that very day. In order to get fans involved, Hazama said Square sent out fan surveys sent, and the 70 songs contained in the game are a direct result of said surveys. The more you know, etcetera. The rhythm-action game, which contains four-player co-op, will land on 3DS February 16. A western release has yet to be confirmed.

SEGA has announced the launch of The House of the Dead 3 on PSN. The HD release of the classic horror arcade shooter has been fully updated with trophies and Move support. Newly added features such as
interactive “rescue events”, and a ranking and grading system that tracks each agent’s shot accuracy as well as the special bonus of a virtual The House of the Dead 3 arcade cabinet for PlayStation Home. The game will run you $6.99. Check out new shots in the gallery below.

Square has released a new video for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and it runs around the 10-minute mark. The 3DS title has Sora and Rikku as duel playable protagonists, and will feature familiar characters and locations from IPs such as Final Fantasy, Winnie the Pooh, Tron, Pinocchio, Notre Dame, Three Musketeers and more Square/Disney offerings. It launches March 29 in Japan, and is slated for release this year in Europe and the US. The video is posted below.
