Fairytale Fights coming to PC, PS3 and 360, looks bloody

fairytalefights

Playlogic has announced that Fairytale Fights will release on October23 and 27 for PS3 and Xbox 360 in the UK and US, respectively.

Using the Unreal 3 Engine and inspired by cartoons like Happy Tree Friends and Itchy and Scratchy, the game takes characters and tales from well known fairytales and makes them more macabre. Players must fight their way through “hordes of bloodthirsty enemies on a quest to restore their own personal honor and re-establish peace in the land of fairytales.”

Players can also cooperatively complete quests in the single-player storyline or multiplayer battles with up to 4 others with over 100 weapons, and DLC is expected to be released on a regular basis post launch.

The game will also be made available for PC in 2010.

Full press release is below, and D’toid has a hands-on preview if you would like to have a look.
