Pandora’s Tower lands in the UK April 13
Nintendo has announced Pandora’s Tower will finally grace UK shops April 13. Previously listed only as a Q2 2012 release, NOA announced back in August it would not commit to releasing the Wii title in the US until European figures are in. So, in other words, if you don’t buy it, the US may not get it. It’s up to you Europe, don’t let us down. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Nintendo has updated its eShop, DSiWare and WiiWare offerings with MonkeyPaw’s action-adventure title BurgerTime World Tour, and Game Boy Classic actioner, Maru’s Mission. In Nintendo Video, a new episode of Dinosaur Office called Romance will air on February 14 at 9.00am, and new this week is 40-in-1 Explosive Megamix, and action-adventure title from Nordcurrent.

Battleship gets a teaser trailer
Activision has released a teaser video for Battleship the video game, which was announced yesterday. In development at Double Helix Games, the seek-and-find adventure game contains a stand-alone story taken from Universal Pictures’ upcoming movie. The game will offer a combination of “strategic naval command” and first-person action. Battleship will release for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Europe and North America in May. 3DS, DS, and Wii versions from developer Magic Pockets are to be released with a date to be announced. Bush hitting Rock Band 3 next week
Harmonix has announced Bush tracks will be made available for Rock Band 3 on February 7 for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360. The tracks are from the band’s 1994 debut, Sixteen Stone, and the DLC consists of the following tracks: Everything Zen, Comedown, and Machinehead. The tracks will be made available for PS3 the following day in Europe, as part of the weekly PSN update. Each will run you the normal rate, and for an extra $0.99 you can upgrade the song Machinehead to Pro bass and guitar. A track pack will be made available for $5.49.

Retail edition of Back to the Future: The Game hitting Europe in Q1 2012
Telltale has announced Back to the Future: The Game will be released at retail for PC, PS3 and Wii in Europe during the first part of 2012. PS3 and Wii versions will be available in Europe, while boxed editions of the PC will only be available in “some” territories, according to a press release on Nintendo Life. It will be available in English and German, with French subtitles available. The game was previously released through PSN and on iPad last year. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Skylanders gets new characters, Empire of Ice pack
Activision’s launched two new characters for Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, as well as a new content pack called Empire of Ice. The new characters introduced are Cynder and Double Trouble. Cynder is a a dragon of the undead element whose “dark powers flow through her due to her difficult past,” although is said to be making amends. Double Trouble was previously a adept spellcaster, but now comes from the magic element. Another character coming is Slam Bam, a “yeti-abominable-snowman-looking guy,” who has yeti fists and ice prison attacks.

EA Q3: SWTOR moves 2 million units, 1.7M active users
EA has posted $1.65 billion in revenue for Q3 FY12, which is a 15% increase year-over-year from $1.41 billion. Packaged goods sales came in at $1.23 billion compared to $1.108 billion year-over-year, and losses for the quarter were $205 million, compared to $322 million year-over-year.

Japanese charts: Vita rebounds, Armored Core and Resident Evil blitz charts
PS Vita have rebounded slightly in Japan after week-over-week declines since launch, and the new handheld should send Namco a thank you card for the resurgence, as it was due to Tales of Innocence R’s debut which did it. Over on Media Create’s weekly software chart, the Tales game wasn’t the only debut in the top three, as Armored Core V and Resident Evil Revelations took the number one and second place spots, respectively.
