Japanese charts – Super Robot Wars Z outsells all, Vita moves 8,931 units

Media Create has released its weekly retail chart and Nacmo’s 2nd Super Robot Wars Z Saisei Volume bested all software offerings with 265,439 units moved for the debut. Media Create has released its weekly retail chart and Namco’s Tales of the Heroes Twin Brave topped it for PSP with 85,309 units sold. 3DS sale fell close to 20,000 units over the prior week, but it still manged to move 76,322 units.

Pokémon director teases upcoming announcement

Siliconera reports Pokémon director Junichi Masuda has hinted a new game announce may happen soon. Speaking to fans at a Q&A event, and later following up on Twitter, the developer said those keen to hear about ne games should watch Pokémon Smash, a weekly Japanese TV show. No announcement was made during Sunday’s episode. Despite Gamefreak’s protestations, several signs point at an upcoming Pokémon Gray followup to 2011′s Black and White, possibly for 3DS.
