Mass Effect: Paragon Lost now available in the UK
Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, the anime movie detailing the adventures of Mass Effect 3 squaddie James Vega, is out now in the UK. That is the end of the news, but the BioWare Blog is offering a Reinforcements Pack for Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer to the first 200 UK fans to send in a photograph of themselves holding the newly-released film.

Ken Levine murdered the Bioshock movie
The R-rated Bioshock film was all set to go at Universal with Gore Verbinski at the helm. Then the similarly adult big-budget think piece Watchmen came out and didn’t dominate the box office they way they had hoped. That left Irrational head Ken Levine with a choice to make.

Resident Evil 6 film in early stages at Sony Pictures, Screen Gems
A Resident Evil 6 film is in the early stages at Sony Pictures and Screen Gems, but at present, neither Milla Jovovich nor Paul W.S. Anderson have been confirmed. The last film in the series, Resident Evil: Retribution, grossed $221 million worldwide. The film is slated to hit theaters September 12, 2014, so there’s still quite a ways to go before it hits cinemas. Thanks, MCV.

Deus Ex: Human Defiance trademark is for the film based on Human Revolution
The Deus Ex: Human Defiance trademark which popped up earlier this week is, as suspected, for the movie based on the franchise and not a new game in the series. The correlation was figured out by Superannuation, after a domain registration filed by CBS Films popped up online. The movie will feature a cyberpunk setting according to filmmaker C. Robert Cargill, and is based on 2011′s Human Revolution.

Redbox Instant launching on Xbox 360
Redbox, the vending machine movie rental service, is making the jump to streaming movies provider with a new service called Redbox Instant. The Verge reports that at launch, Redbox Instant will be available on a variety of devices but just one console – the Xbox 360. Gold Live subscribers are eligible for the $8 per month plan, which includes unlimited streaming and four traditional DVD rentals. Whether you subscribe or not, you’ll be able to make a la carte purchases and rentals. Redbox Instant is expected to launch in under two months.
