Ghost Recon movie to be directed by Michael Bay
Back in February, the LA Times reported Ubisoft Motion Pictures boss Jean-Julien Baronnet was working on a Ghost Recon pitch. Looks like the pitch took, and none other than Michael Bay is involved.

Need for Speed movie clips shown, out in spring 2014
Aaron Michael Paul from Big Love, and Breaking Bad is in the Need for Speed movie. He came on stage to show clips from the movie in the works. It looks like it was fun to make. This isn’t Paul’s first E3 as he regularly turns up to check out the show, including an appearance at Microsoft’s Kinect debut in 2010. The Need for Speed film is currently filming and expected in northern spring 2014. Other confirmed stars include Michael Keaton.

World of Warcraft movie starts filming early 2014, possible 2015 launch window
World of Warcraft seems to be getting the movie treatment after all, following wave after wave of doubt surrounding the project. It should start filming in 2014, and the previously stated 2015 release window still seems to stand.

Mediajuice Studios has announced its Kickstarter campaign for its indie documentary film, Video Games: The Movie, has surpassed its funding goal and will be able to complete post-production. The studio has also announced new stretch goals.

Angry Birds movie signs The Office writer, Lucasfilm producer
Writer of America’s adaptation of The Office Jon Vitti has signed on to pen the Angry Birds movie adaptation, currently slated for a July 1, 2016 theatrical release. Producer Catherine Winder has also joined the team.
