Majesco is being threatened, once again, with a delisting by Nasdaq. The issues is the firm’s stock has been under $1 for over 30 days. It now has 180 days to common stock prices to at the very least $1 for 10 business days in a row, or, it will be delisted. The firm was warned in January 2013, and had to re-enlist itself back in February 2011. Thanks, Joystiq.

In the wake of its decent but not spectacular quarterly and annual financial release yesterday, Zumba publisher Majesco’s stock price has taken a beating, dropping 29% over one day to just 74¢ per share. The stock drop was probably triggered by the publisher’s inability to provide guidance, but it will have to scurry to climb back up above NASDAQ’s minimum $1 price before a 90 day time limit results in a delisting. Majesco’s quite experienced in this sphere though.

I hate that it ended so abruptly with the whole studio closing, but that’s the way the industry is.” Majesco Boston was formed after its parent company acquired area-based Quick Hit in 2011 and its focus was on social games. Majecso has yet to comment on the matter. Thanks, GI International.
