This wins E3. EG’s Rob ‘Bertie’ Purchase interviewed Snoop Dogg at the show after Namco announced a collaboration with the rapper in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Words are not required for this: just watch and bawl your eyes out in laughter for the next four minutes here. Pack it up, guys: no other interview will touch this at the show this year.

Imagine’s announced its merged 360 Magazine and X360 together under the latter brand. The first issue since the merger will launch on July 11 with Dan Howdle leading the team as editor and Rick Porter as EIC. Both magazines seen recent drops in the last round of ABC results.

Inside Xbox vets Dan Maher, Ashley Denton and Gareth Wild have formed a new production company called Explosive Alan Productions. Details are scarce at the moment, but the group will be filming the Square Enix community event tomorrow. Microsoft halted production of Indie Xbox earlier this month, much to the dismay of the community. Thanks, MCV.

IGN and T-Break Media have launched IGN Middle East which will service 15 countries in the Middle East and North Africa region, including United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt and Morocco and its “potential audience of more than 340 million people.” The site will be headed up by Abbas Jaffar Ali, formerly of ME gaming site Megamers, which has been incorporated into IGN ME. The site is available in Arabic and English and mixes “locally created editorial content with that from IGN’s teams in the US, UK and Australia.”

Future has announced a restructure in its games editorial team in order to increase its digital business.

YouTube network Machinima is set to raise $30 million in its latest round of funding thanks to help from Google, AllThingsD is reporting, with its value now set to be around $190 million. Both Google and Machinima have refused to comment on the story.

Savygamer blows out five candles today. The UK game bargins site, driven by ex-VG247 contributor Lewie Procter, launched on May 3, 2007. To celebrate the occasion, the site is holding a special sale on PC indie titles, such as Blue Toad Murder Files, Eufloria, VVVVVV and more.

Eurogamer vet John Teti has popped up on a new gaming site called The Gameological Society, a partner site of The A.V. Club, which will have a “similar editorial direction and tone” to the later. Both sites are members of the Onion family. The site is self-described as “an independent-minded online magazine that explores games as works of art and pop culture,” and informed by “a passion for play and grounded in a broad cultural awareness.” With Teti involved, it’s bound to be witty. You may wish to check it out.

Ken Levine is in consideration as an entry for Time Magazine’s annual 100 most influential people in the world issue. The annual list, which pulls entrants from a list of accumulated user votes, will be posted on April 17. You can participate in the poll until April 6. Levine is just one of the choices, and so far, 91.24% voters think he should be included on the list, and 8.76% of participants think otherwise. What the hell do they know anyway? Go vote for Ken.

For those who missed it, GameSpot’s put live on its YouTube channel the recording of its live stream last night between Giant Bomb‘s Jeff Gerstmann and GameSpot VP John Davison.
