The listing notes the right person will be able to handle “tasks that might include keeping track of performance, memory and optimising for current and next-gen”. Ed Fries, Sheri Rubin elected to IGDA Board of Directors

The Independent Game Developers Association has announced it’s elected former Microsoft executive Ed Fries to its Board of Directors as well as and Design Direct Deliver founder and CEO Sheri Rubin. Each will serve a three-year term, during which, they will help “advocate important issues that affect the game development community.” Outgoing board members include: 1st Playable Productions’ Tobi Saulnier, Funzio’s Jamil Moledina, Spry Fox’s David Edery, and Berfield Productions’ Scott Berfield. According to a job listing on the official website, the firm is targeting “world-class talent” future generation console game development.
