Ghost of a Tale, the PC adventure game from ex-Dreamworks and Universal animator Lionel Gallat, has surpassed its funding goal on IndieGoGo, despite the crowd-funding site going down twice during the fundraising drive. The project initially needed €45,000 for development, but backers provided €48,700 in funding, making it a rousing success. The adorable game where you play a little mouse in a dangerous world, will be released on PC upon completion. A dedicated site and forums are in the works, but until either are up, you ca keep track of the development process through the funding page.

Dust: An Elysian Tail will be released on Steam next week, according to developers Dean Dodrill and Alex Kain. The game has been available for Xbox Live for quite some time now, but come May 24, PC users will finally be able to play it. Hit up Steam for more information.

A video clip from Video Games: The Movie, currently on Kickstarter is below, and features various industry folks such as Randy Pitchford, Chris Hardwick, Karl Stewart, and Cliff Bleszinski discussing next-gen. Give it a watch, and then head over to its funding page. So far, with 31 days left, the project has earned $25,762 in funding towards its $60,000 goal from 250 backers.

The Indiegogo campaign for Ghost of a Tale, the lovely third-person game from ex-Dreamworks and Universal animator Lionel Gallat, is winding down and with four days left. It still needs €6,951 in funding to be a success, and with a fixed funding price of €45,000 the project has earned €38,049 so far. To get the funding ball rolling faster, the game’s page has been updated with some desktop concept art of the main character as well as an undead rat and a look into character creation. Unusual, toddler-centric horror adventure Among the Sleep has been successfully funded on Kickstarter, managing to raise its $200,000 goal with time left on the clock. Things had been looking a little hairy, but Krillbite recently made an alpha version of the game available to all comers, rewarding existing backers with access to a new version and the eventual beta. Developer direct digital distribution hub Show Me The Games is throwing a whopping sale for the next few days, with discounts of 35% to 75% on 32 indie titles. There are some well known names on the list – And Yet It Moves, Gratuitous Space Battles, Defcon and Voxeltron, for example – as well as a bunch of lesser-known efforts you might not have heard of. A wide variety of genres are represented, and many titles are available on Linux and Mac as well as PC.
