Realmforge developing DARK for PC, consoles, new screens released
Realmforge has announced its stealth-action RPG DARK will be released on PC and consoles, and has updated its Facebook page with shots of the game’s vampire protagonist, Eric Bane. The title is set in the present day with our hero waking up at a vampire bar with no memory of how get got there or how he became one of the undead. Bane’s vampiric skills will be upgradable, and the game is to be published by Kalypso Media. The game is due in the first quarter of 2013.

Video – Rainbow Moon looks like it will be fun
Sony has released a new video for the Side-Quest Studio PSN-exclusive Rainbow Moon. The strategy-RPG was originally slated to release last year, but the game’s publisher, eastasiasoft, announced a delay into Q1 2012. Upon release, the game will contain 30 hours of gameplay which can be extended to 100 hours with side-questing taken into consideration. It contains six playable characters, 20 dungeons, over 100 skills, and fully customizable weapons and armour.

XSEED to localise Ragnarok Odyssey, Orgarhythm for western Vita releases
XSEED’s announced it’ll localise Ragnarok Odyssey and Orgarhythm for a US release. The Vita games were previously Japan only, with Ragnarok only releasing in the country in February of this year. Orgarhythm was showcased earlier, showing a mix of rhythm and strategy elements.

MLG Spring Championship attendees get a beta sneak peek of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm
Blizzard has announced it will offer a beta sneak peek of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm to those attending Major League Gaming’s Pro Circuit Spring Championship event. Taking place June 8-10 at the Anaheim Convention Center, public demo stations will allow attendees to try out the latest multiplayer build of the upcoming beta test. During the event, StarCraft II pro-gamers will battle for $76,000 in prize money with the first place finisher taking home $25,000. In addition, the USA national finals for the StarCraft II World Championship Series will take place. Participants will be competing for $30,000 as well as invitations to the North America continental finals. The top finishers in that event will represent their countries at the Battle.net World Championship event in Asia. For more information, hit up the links.

Dungeon Defenders: Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards part 3 out on PC
Trendy Entertainment has released part three of Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards for Dungeon Defenders. In Part III: Aquanos, players will traverse the underwater ruins of the fallen metropolis Aquanos where you must recover the yellow Eternia Shard. The DLC contains two new missions, a new PvP area called the Shipwreck Graveyard, water-themed weapons, a new boss and a new pet. The content is now available on PC along with a new mermaid skin for the countess. The DLC will be released on consoles “soon.” Check out the screenshots and video below.

Anno 2070′s domination mode now in beta testing
Beta testing for Anno 2070′s new multiplayer mode has begun. Domination fronts two teams of up to five players in a score battle, and allows for asynchronous player. It sounds pretty neat. More information can be found on the game’s forums.

Free-to-play Silent Hunter Online announced, beta applications being accepted
Ubisoft has announced the development of a free-to-play installment of the Silent Hunter series. Titled Silent Hunter Online, the firm is now accepting closed beta applications for the browser-based multiplayer game in development at Ubisoft Blue Byte. According to the firm, the heart of the game is “the Battle of the Atlantic”, an “innovative dynamic campaign in which individual successes impact all other players through asynchronous gameplay.” Also, for the first time in the Silent Hunter series, players will be able to play every mission of the campaign in co-op. The Silent Hunter franchise has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide since the first release in 1996. A couple screens are posted below.
