Blockbuster offering interesting pre-order incentives for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13

Blockbuster has announced two pre-order exclusiveness Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, which include DLC packs featuring football luminaries Wayne Rooney, James Milner, Theo Walcott and Petr Cech. Another pack will feature sports stars such as boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard. Blockbuster said the exclusive DLC was “the start of an exciting year” for its customers and more promotions are coming in the future. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 will be released in the US on March 27 and worldwide on March 30. The Xbox 360 version features Kinect integration, while both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions contain a new swing mechanic as well as social features. Thanks, Spong.

UFC Undisputed 3 demo lands on XBL and PSN

A demo for UFC Undisputed 3 has landed on PSN and XBL. The demo features a matchup between current UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones and current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. In addition, the Pride Mode rivalry between champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Wanderlei Silva is included. The demo also offers mirror matches against another player or AI as the same fighter for the “ultimate test of skill.” UFC Undisputed 3 is currently scheduled for release on February 14 PS3 and Xbox 360.

3DS video released for Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games

MLB 12: The Show online features detailed

Sony’s detailed some of MLB 12: The Show’s online features. Modes for this years game, which will include online and offline flavours, include Home Run Derby and Diamond Dynasty, which, according to Sony, is “an entirely new mode that mixes offline and online components and includes elements never before seen in a sports game.” A new community menu will also be included, with the Play Now option being expanded to to make it easier to find a particular match.

Ubisoft shutters Pure Futbol studio in Vancouver

Ubisoft has announced it’s closed its Vancouver studio, which was previously known as Action Pants before the publisher acquire it in 2009. Under the Ubisoft umbrella, the firm works on various sports titles such as Pure Futbol, Academy of Champions: Soccer, and Motionsports Adrenaline. “We have made the difficult decision to close its studio in Vancouver [as] unfortunately, we haven’t found the right formula for success for the talented team there,” a Ubisoft spokesperson told GameInformer. “Team members will have the opportunity to consider positions in other Ubisoft studios and we will work with each of them to help find the best next step, whether it be within Ubisoft or outside.”
