Black Ops 2: Revolution DLC is free this free-to-play this weekend, new micro-DLC incoming
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is lifting the paywall off its Revolution DLC pack this weekend, letting everyone play it for free for a few days. The game is also getting some more micro-DLC skins that will be chosen by fan vote.

Resident Evil: Revelations launch trailer shows flashes of gameplay
Resident Evil: Revelations developer Capcom has released a launch trailer for its HD re-release, full of static and quick shots of beasties. The games out on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 today in the States, and on Friday across Europe.

Battlefield 4: “Big announcements are coming soon”
We know that the next-gen Xbox reveal taking place tonight will show off next-gen FIFA and next-gen Call of Duty, but we expect that many of the big game announcements will be left for Microsoft’s E3 press conference. But it could be that we’ll find out something about Battlefield 4 at the imminent event.

The personal website of a game developer named Jehan Choo who once contracted with Visceral Games contained until a few hours ago a reference to work done on “pre-vis environments, mood pieces, and texture work for a PS4/Xbox 720 title” at Visceral, which is best known lately for the producing the Dead Space games.

New Killzone: Mercenary screens break cover
Guerilla Games has released a new bunch of Killzone: Mercenary screenshots and they look really beautiful. The new screens seem to be direct-captures and show off the game’s majestic world as well as featuring various characters, environments and textures. City Interactive’s Alien Fear has had its name changed to Alien Rage
City Interactive has announced it has changed the name of its sci-fi, arcade-FPS Alien Fear – announced in 2012 – to Alien Rage. The game, which includes all sorts of weapons, firing modes, 21 enemy types and eight different bosses will be shown at E3 this year alongside its RPG Lords of the Fallen. Alien Rage will be available via digital distribution later this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A teaser video is below.
