City Interactive has announced the closed beta for World of Mercenaries is live, and anyone who holds a beta key in hand can now download the client from Steam. The skill-based, teamwork-focused first-person-shooter was developed with URE3, and you can sign up for ongoing beta testing through here.

Nilhistic’s take at the Resistance franchise on Vita – the first in the series without series creator Insomniac – is looking quite decent, having had some hands-on time with a preview build for it recently. Get a look at new shots of it in action below. The game’s out next week.

Scourage: Outbreak has been announced for a release this summer on PSN, Xbox Live Arcade and Mac this summer by Tragnarion Studios. The third-person shooter will feature co-op of up to four players, with up to eight players on TDM, DM and Capture the Flag across five maps.

Tripwire has announced a Game of the Year content pack for Red Orchestra 2, featuring a new map, new game modes and more. The content pack will download automatically for everyone who already owns the game and it will be free to play for everyone on Steam this weekend, starting May 24 at 10.00am PDT.
