PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to check out Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer over the break without forking out for the full PS4 title. The multiplayer will be available at no charge during a free weekend, which will run December 28 to 31. Interestingly, downloading the trial will also mean you’ve installed the single-player, so if you decide to shell out for the game you won’t need to do any additional downloading. In DICE’s ongoing process to make Battlefield 4 a more stable and less buggy game, the developer has released a stealth patch this morning for PC. The patch aims to improve the netcode and contains a fix for the sound loop game crash bug. Get all the patch notes inside.

As was announced at the beginning of December, four-player co-op shooter Shoot Many Robots is now free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers until the end of the month. It follows on from Gears of War. Shoot Many Robots was released on Xbox Live Arcade in March 2012, usually selling for £6.75.
