City Interactive’s Alien Fear has had its name changed to Alien Rage
City Interactive has announced it has changed the name of its sci-fi, arcade-FPS Alien Fear – announced in 2012 – to Alien Rage. The game, which includes all sorts of weapons, firing modes, 21 enemy types and eight different bosses will be shown at E3 this year alongside its RPG Lords of the Fallen. Alien Rage will be available via digital distribution later this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A teaser video is below.

Ghost Recon Online Wii U still “on hold” despite commitment to the console
Ubisoft has stated that the Wii U version of Ghost Recon Online is still “on hold” as the team’s focus remains on the PC version. However, this doesn’t mean Ubisoft is committed to Nintendo’s Wii U console.

MLG Spring Season Black Ops 2 second qualifying bracket semifinals, finals air tonight
Major League Gaming’s Spring Season for Black Ops 2 is now in the second qualifying bracket with semifinals and finals airing tonight at 7pm ET. The winning team tonight will advance to the MLG Spring Championship from June 28-30 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, where hundreds of teams will compete for $50,000 in prizes and a first place prize of $20,000. Competitor, VIP and spectator passes for Black Ops 2 are available now, and fans can purchase a spectator pass online for $35 to attend the entire weekend, or upgrade to a VIP pass. Thunder Wolves now on Steam, XBLA and PSN launch to be announced
BitComposer Games has announced Thunder Wolves, the arcade-style helicopter-shooter from Most Wanted Entertainment, is now available through Steam for $14.99. The versions for PSN and XBLA will be released “shortly” thereafter. The game contains plenty of action with explosions and destructible environments with nine helicopters with unique arsenals at the player’s disposal. Each of the 13 missions contain elements of either stealth, escorting, or seek-and-destroy. You can also enlist the help of a buddy through local cop-op. Check it out through the link.

Crysis 3 Achievement listing suggests multiplayer DLC on the way
Crysis 3 may be getting some multiplayer DLC, should some new Achievements which have come to light be any indication. According to Xbox 360 Achievements, the content comes with four maps: Ascent, Coastline, Creek, and Crossing. It also contains the modes Frenzy and Team Possession, the later of which is said to contain flag points. A new weapon called the boat oar will apparently be included as well, due to the Achievement listing: Totally Oarsome – Get a kill with a boat Oar (Public Match only). While Xbox 360 Achievements is pretty much spot on with these things, nothing is official yet as neither Crytek nor EA have announced the DLC. Thanks, Joystiq.
