Mass Effect 3 Origin pre-orders net free BF3
Origin is offering a free copy of Battlefield 3 with US pre-orders for Mass Effect 3, along with the previously-announced bonus weapons, the M55 Argus Assault Rifle and Origin-exclusive AT12 Raider Shotgun. While you’ve got EA’s digital dsitribution client open, note that the PC demo is now live. BioWare’s anticipated RPG hybrid release for PC on March 6 in the US, March 8 in Australia and March 9 in Europe.

The House of the Dead 3 now available on PSN
SEGA has announced the launch of The House of the Dead 3 on PSN. The HD release of the classic horror arcade shooter has been fully updated with trophies and Move support. Newly added features such as
interactive “rescue events”, and a ranking and grading system that tracks each agent’s shot accuracy as well as the special bonus of a virtual The House of the Dead 3 arcade cabinet for PlayStation Home. The game will run you $6.99. Check out new shots in the gallery below.

Super Stardust Delta and DLC free with Vita 3G activation
One other tidbit from Sony’s Q&A livestream: US owners who activate their new handheld’s 3G connection will receive a free copy of Super Stardust Delta and the Blast Pack DLC for free. The Vita alunches in the US on February 22, although those who ponied up for the First Edition 3G Bundle can grab theirs on February 15. You can watch a replay of the live chat session here.

Resistance: Burning Skies due at the end of May
In a Q&A session on the PS Blog, Sony put a May 29 release date on Nihilistic’s Resistance: Burning Skies, although the EU PS Blog put PAL release down for May 30. The dual-stick Vita shooter complements Insomniac’s PS3-exclusive series, and casts players as a fireman. The handheld itself launches on February 22.

Spec Ops: The Line given an “M” rating by ESRB for obvious reasons
The ESRB has rated Spec Ops: The Line M for Mature in the US, which is not really shocking, unless a shooter about Spec Ops missions wasn’t a large enough clue for some of us out there. However, apparently, you’ll be able to do more than just shoot people in the face in this game, thus the reason it has “The Line” as a subtitle.
