Secret of Mana artist Hirō Isono has passed away
Hirō Isono, and artist and painter responsible for the lovely look of the Secret of Mana series, passed away on May 28 due to heart failure. Born in 1945, Isono graduated from the Aichi University of Education’s fine arts department in 1968, and worked as an illustrator and painter since the 1970s. In 1991, he provided the main visual for Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden, worked on the aforementioned Secret of Mana series and Heroes of Mana in 2007.
