Nippon Ichi has released some devastatingly colourful artwork as well as the first screenshots for its new side-scrolling RPG, Princess of Arcadias. We don’t know very much about the PlayStation 3 exclusive just yet except that it stars a crowned girl – presumably the titular princess – kicking all kinds of arse with a variety of enormous weapons. The Witcher 2 is being updated considerably with a new patch. Among the large list of changed, additions and the like, you will see balances to combat, new animations and and a myriad of other things. The patch was developed by The Witcher 3 developer Andrzej Kwiatkowski, in his spare time, and should be ready in a coupe of weeks. You can view the awesome wall of patch notes over on PCgamesN.

Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Goichi Suda has said he’s “always up to the idea” of creating another No More Heroes game. Speaking with Joystiq, Suda 51 said: “Travis [Touchdown] is one of the characters I’m really fond of, that means a lot to me. So if there was the opportunity to create another sequel then yeah, I’m always up to the idea.” Until then, fans can appease themselves with Killer is Dead on PS3 and Xbox 360 in August.

Borderlands 2 developer Gearbox Software has released a gallery of weapon images from the game’s fourth DLC pack, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep. They all have mad fantasy RPG names like ‘Casual SWORDSPLOSION!!!’ and look quite lethal.

EverQuest franchise diector Dave Georgeson has confirmed on Twitter that the next EverQuest game is officially titled EverQuest Next. The game was announced under the same moniker way back in 2010, but it was described as a working title only. We’ve heard very little since, although Massively reports development was completely rebooted at least once, so don’t hold your breath; that said, there are hints we may see it this year.

Capcom has confirmed that its Panta Rhei demo Deep Down is not part of the Dragon’s Dogma franchise.

Metal Max 4: Moonlight Diva has been announced for 3DS. The RPG, vehicle combat titles takes place in a post apocalyptic world with an open ended gameplay and combat dogs.The game was announced via Famitsu and will be released in Japan this fall. Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition is now available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. The new +1 Edition adds new content not included in the mobile game from Behold Studios, such as new game areas, a longer campaign, a tavern, dungeon raids, and more loot. The game will run you $9.99,and there’s a premium Digital Deluxe Edition available for $14.99. The iOS and Android versions are available for $2.99, and everybody who already owns Knights of Pen & Paper on a mobile device will be leveled up to the +1 Edition for free.
