Dance Magic headed to PlayStation 3, supports Move
Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games have announced Dance Magic, a PlayStation Network exclusive launching in the US on January 8. Gameplay looks to be a Bust A Groove affair, with more attack options, less original character designs, and freakishly long arms which you can observe in the trailer through the break. Dance Magic boasts 20 songs, seven dance styles and PlayStation Move controls.

Sing Hero assets show canned karaoke game
Prior to its dramatic exit from the music games business, Activision had a karaoke game in the works – Sing Hero. Not much is known about the game beyond its use of fan numbers as a scoring device. Siliconera has a couple of assets from the shelved title, which was in the works at Rock Band Wii port developer Pi Studios. The developer has since closed, and although Activision has renewed its Sing Hero trademark, it looks like this once has been abandoned. Hit the link to pick over the bones.

Bit.Trip on Steam – Void out now, Runner 2 pre-orders open
Head on over to Steam to pick up Bit.Trip Void, the third entry in Gaijin Games’ minimalistic, retro-styled series. Void is a bit tricky to explain, being a kind of bullet hell – thing, but it’s 10% off this week and at $9 it’s hard to complain. While you have your credit card out, cast your eye over the Bit.Trip Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, which is now available for pre-order for $13.50 – also a 10% discount.

NBA Baller Beats updated with photo sharing, leaderboards
Majesco’s bizarre but strangely compelling Kinect game, NBA Baller Beats, has been updated. Joystiq reports the rhythm action affair now boasts leaderboards, as well as a photo capture function, with the option to share images on Facebook.

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, Sound Shapes composing tools hit US PSN
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is available today on the PS Store for $4.99 in the US for Vita. It will release tomorrow for those in Europe. It includes heroes, villains, weapons, and artifacts from Drake’s Fortune, Golden Abyss, and the motion comic Eye of Indra. The action-adventure turn based card game contains 100 cards and you can unlock more through expansion packs for $1.99 each.
Sound Shapes has also been updated with three Sound Packs and a Curved Terrain Pack. The Sound Packs each include five new instruments, five new Beat School levels, and five new Trophies for $0.99 each. A new vehicle DLC is on the slate for 2013, but expect a “little holiday present from everyone here at Queasy” in the meantime. The packs will release tomorrow in Europe.

Rock Band 3 – the eighties are back with tracks from two hit makers
Rock Band 3 is getting three new tracks next week, courtesy of A Flock of Seagulls and Billy Squier. The tracks are: I ran (So Far Away), The Stroke and Everybody Wants you, respectively. All support keyboards, and The Stroke has Pro Guitar and Bass options. The DLC will be made available on Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 on October 9. UK PS3 users will get the tracks on October 10.
