Need for Speed: Rivals is due for launch in the next couple of weeks, and Ghost Games has released two gameplay clips, showing the racer off on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Need for Speed: Rivals is due on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 November 19 in North America. It will arrive on PS4 in the region on November 15 and on Xbox One November 22. The game will release in Europe on all the aforementioned platforms on November 22, expect for PS4 which releases on November 29 in the region.

The titles included are: FootLOL: Epic Fail League, Reversion – The Meeting, Subject 9, Dualsus, ARKADIANAX, Champions of Chaos II: Ambassadors of the Arena and Rhythm Destruction. All the games are available for Desura and are in Greenlight seeking a place on Steam. FootLOL, Subject 9 and ARKADIANAX are also available for Mac. ARKADIANAX is also available for Linux. Turn 10 has fired a shot across Polyphony Digital’s bows in their decision not to carry Xbox 360 level cars over to the Xbox One, referencing the large proportion of Gran Turismo 5 and 6′s “non-premium” cars, which began life as PlayStation 2 models. Additionally, many of Forza 4′s tracks won’t be making the jump to Forza 5 because they were either inaccurate or in a few cases, the tracks themselves have changed.

Slightly Mad Studios, the team behind Project Cars has announced their going around track fast simulation will be going around the track on “next-gen” platforms next year, including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam OS. The team has promised the new console versions will represent “new benchmarks of graphical fidelity and technical power” as team aims to set a “new standard” for car games. Additionally, the team revealed the Steam OS version will include “specific multiplayer and social features” that are apparently only possible on new operating system.
