AGB has posted what appears to be concept footage of Gran Turismo 6. You can have a look at it below. GT6 will be released this holiday season on PS3, and “may” hit PS4 in the future. A demo is slated for July.

The ever vigilant Internet sleuth Superannuation has dug up some more domain registrations, and they pertain to a possibly racing game of sorts from Disney. The domains registered vary from having a .net to .com on them, and carry the monikers DisneySpeedster, DisneySpeedsters, DisneyRacers, DisneyRacing, DisneyKart, DisneyKartRacing, and DisneyKarting. Lots of Disney in there. There’s even a Disney Speedsters Twitter account, but it hasn’t tweeted yet. Sounds, to me, like Disney is possibly looking to create its own version of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing, only with Disney characters. I’m no psychic though.

Gran Turismo 6 is a thing, as you well know by now, and while I posted a few shots for you yesterday, I missed quite a few thanks to a hanging download and my ISP throwing a fit over the sun shining. Today, I have remedied the matter by posting almost 100 shots below. Some may be dupes, it’s hard for me to tell unless it’s a Merc or a Ferrari – both of which are in there much to my delight – so apologies for that. However, there are also shots of the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa, interiors and Silverstone, along with shots pertaining to GT Academy. All are mixed together in a tasty boulibase for you.

Jim Ryan, SCEE’s president and CEO, has announced at the Gran Turismo 15th Anniversary event that Gran Turismo 5 has sold 10 million units worldwide, and the series as a whole has moved 70 million units. Ryan said almost half of those were sold in Europe. Ryan also said that “PlayStation and Gran Turismo are always going to be linked,” as the series is and will remain exclusive to PlayStation”. The track list for GRID 2 has been confirmed by Codemasters, and it’s a rather robust. Just how robust? How does 82 layouts sound to you? Yeah, that’s loads of driving, there. Hit up the list below. GRID 2 is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on May 28 and in Europe on May 31.

With 40 hours left on the clock, DarkSeas Games’ Road Redemption Kickstarter has been funded. The initial funding goal was $160,000, and 3,929 backers funded it with $163,315 in pledges. You can find out more on the game which is currently slated for a PC, Mac and Linux in July, and Wii U some time this year, through the link.
