1 vs. 100 Season 2 begins tonight on Xbox Live

1vs100season2

Those looking forward to the second season of 1 vs. 100 should know that it starts in the US tonight at 8:00pm EST.

As previously reported, season two makes it easier to become either the mob or the One by having a great score throughout the season, as well as The One doing a pose while coming down the stairs to center stage.

There’s also unlockable dance moves and new achievements.

Should be fun. We’ll definitely be playing if the queue isn’t too long.

Full PR below the break.

Thanks for the reminder, Joystiq.

New season of 1 vs. 100 in the works, The One getting tweaked

1vs100

Looks like another 1 vs. 100 season is currently in the works.

According to the development team’s blog, looks like more competitions featuring The One are on the way.

This time around, The One will receive a golden notification and have their status so to “Busy” so as not to be distracted by others trying to contact them and the like as they are singled out to answer questions.

The One will also receive a new entrance instead of just appearing on the stage. Instead, just like on the TV show, players’ Avatars will come down the staircase – and will even strike a pose.

You can read the full thing through the link above.

Thanks, D’toid.

Rumor: Survey reveals potential 1 vs. 100 subscription model

1vs100

1 vs. 100 butters its bread by asking all kinds of oddball trivia questions, and now — fittingly enough — Microsoft’s following suit by riddling gamers this big question: “If 1 vs. 100 were not available as part of your Gold Membership account, how likely would you be to purchase 1 vs. 100 for $15 per season (13 weeks)?”

At least, Microsoft’s behind this caper if an anonymous Joystiq tipster is to be believed. The question in question allegedly came from a survey on MyThoughtCounts.com, though its legitimacy is still suspect.

We’ve sent an email over to Microsoft to find out more. For now, though, this one gets the big, bad rumor tag. Wear it with pride, 1 vs. 100. We don’t use these things lightly.
