Two Tribes has regretfully cancelled the level editor for the Wii U version of Toki Tori 2+, but is offering affected customers a free copy of the game on Steam to compensate.

Steam is an essential cog in the survival of indies, according to Escape Goat developer Ian Stocker. Studio Magical Time Bean launched the game on Valve’s marketplace yesterday, almost a year after it was approved on Steam Greenlight.

Dustforce screenshots have been released ahead of NYCC 20134 by Capcom, showing off the Hitbox Team-developed title. Have a look below. Dustforce was released in 2012 on PC and Mac and will arrive digitally on PS3, Vita and Xbox 360 in January 2014.

As if thatgamecompany’s Flower wasn’t pretty enough, the PS4 version runs at 1080p, 60 FPS according to Sony Santa Monica’s director of technology, Tim Moss. He is playing the game currently at the studio, and was tweeting about how gorgeous it was over Twitter. Flower was announced as a launch window title for PS4 during gamescom in August. Candy Crush Saga studio King is reportedly filed an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to The Telegraph. According to the report, the UK-based company could be valued at around $5 billion. Back in August,it was reported that King was making £400,000 a day from Candy Crush Saga on just Facebook. Furmins, the physics-based Lemmings-alike from House Marque games that’s done well on iOS, is coming to PS Vita this October. Taking control of the port is Beatshapers, the developer who did rather a good job with Jetpack Joyride and Canabalt. The aim of the game is to guide a procession of Furmins through deadly levels by building bridges, blocks, and jump pads in their path.

The series variously known as No Heroes Allowed, Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman and What Did I Do to Deserve This has spawned a new free-to-play spin-off. Siliconera reports Acquire’s dungeon-building puzzler is coming to Vita in Japan as Badman G – a title very likely to change should it come west. It has four-player co-op and in-app purchases. All three previous games in the series have been localised.

As revealed in Weekly Famitsu, Puyo Puyo Tetris, which is bound for the Playstation 3, Wii U, Vita and 3DS consists primarily of one player playing Puyo Puyo and the other playing Tetris. Then they switch. Before I looked at these screenshots I wasn’t terribly jealous of Japan getting this crossover and not the west, but suddenly, I am quite jealous. Check them out passed the break.
