Knack’s companion app is now available as a free download on iOS. Knack’s Quest is a puzzle game tasking the player with collecting three or more matching parts for the mechanical beast. The more you collect, the larger Knack becomes – you much reach his size limit and complete the stage before time run outs. Housemarque, the developers of Super Stardust among other games, released a physics-based puzzle game called Furmins on iOS last year. The game involved you setting up a course which the titular furry creatures would then roll their way through, assuming everything goes according to plan. Well, as you probably ascertained from this post’s title, the game has been ported to the PS Vita by Beatshapers and has released in Europe today.

Published by Majesco Entertainment’s indie-arm, Midnight City, the Quantum Astrophysicists Guild-developed 2D logic puzzler tasks the player with manipulating gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architecture. It’s already available on PC through Steam for $14.99 and will run you $9.99 on XBL.

Daedalic Entertainment’s debut, Edna & Harvey – The Breakout is now available through Steam for PC and will run you US$14.99. In case you are unfamiliar with the title, Edna is a young woman who wakes up without any memory of her past life in a padded cell in an asylum. She has no idea how she got there, but wants out because she is not insane – which her stuffed bunny Harvey can attest. While trying to escape, the duo meet other wacky inhabitants of the asylum as Doctor Marcel, the head of the sanatorium tries everything in his power to prevent Edna’s breakout.

The Girl and the Robot developer Flying Carpet Games has released an interesting new trailer for its latest effort. It sees a young girl roaming a whimsical world, while being protected by a robot knight. It looks a bit like Ico, but with Dark Souls combat when in control of the robot. Check out the trailer here.

A-Men 2 has been officially announced by Bloober Team. It’s the sequel to PS Vita’s infuriatingly difficult launch title. It’ll arrive on PlayStation 3 and Vita with Cross-Buy as a digital download on November 5 for North America and November 6 for Europe.

Puzzling horror adventures The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour have made their way to Steam. These classic games were among the first PC releases to take advantage of the then-new CD-ROM technology to deliver FMV cutscenes; they’re also just generally rad – packed with atmosphere, possessed of frankly mental stories, and genuinely brain-bending in places. The 7th Guest is also available on iPhone and iPad, and Trilobyte has tentative plans for a third entry in the series.

Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has been talking about The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds quite a bit recently, mainly about difficulty levels, the number of staff working on the project and how the game had to be tweaked to look right on 2DS which released last week.
