Rayman Legends video has a special rhythm to it

rayman legends mariachi madness

Rayman Legends has a new video available, showing a rhythm-based level set to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger”, only played in Mariachi form. I think I like this version better. Rayman Legends is slated for release on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 August 30 in Europe and September 1 in North America. Thanks, Gematsu.

Ubisoft has sent over some screenshots, which we’ve posted below.

Duke Nukem creator’s Ludum Dare entry is The Road

20130429_the_road

Here’s another piece of the spoils from the most recent Ludum Dare challenge, which asks designers to create games in just 48 hours. The Road comes courtesy of George Broussard of Duke Nukem and 3D Realms fame, and is a very minimalist platformer about the various challenges encountered in the course of a human lifetime – like drowning in a swimming pool or facing an alien invasion. It’s kind of neat. Don’t forget to check out Notch’s Drop, not a formal Ludum Dare game but created in the same spirit.

stealth inc stealth bastard

Curve Studios’ stealth-puzzle-platformer, Stealth Bastard, has a new name for its Vita release. It will now be called Stealth Inc.- A Clone in the Dark. The name change was derived from a contest earlier this month. The two winners, who picked the game’s title and subtitle, won a free copy of the game and their names in the game credits. Upon release, players will get to try their hand at 80 levels with a “steady difficulty curve that gradually ramps up” and eight unique tgame worlds.” Additional features such as un-lockable gadgets, speedrun leaderboards and a level editor are also included.
